I hope the CodeWalker team adds support for RDR2 maps soon. RDR2 Map Editor and LML have entered the chat.

I assume may have been a longer chapter where the player could have explored the island but they abandoned this idea I think. It does not fit in the game in my opinion and is uninteresting. Guarma being large is really pointless as is the whole chapter 5 the only reason it is in the game is to further the plot and tell us that Dutch is going crazy. I still wish we could see the entire island nevertheless, it's beautiful. The more I think about it, the more disproportionate Guarma sounds. When you think about it, an island about the size of 5 US states would be massive. 3 times smaller than Guarma? Which makes it even weirder, if Guarma is so massive how would the island be THAT barely known to the populace? Louisiana is about ~20% bigger than Cuba (it's a universe, scales can change, I know). Think about it, let's compare Louisiana (the state Lemoyne was based on) to Cuba. It's supposed to be an island second east of Cuba so unless Cuba is f*cking massive in the RDR universe, proportion wise Guarma would be much bigger than Cuba. To put things in perspective, the game features 5 f*cking states, and Guarma is about that size. About the same size as the main map anyway. And that there are also a few small, additional islands too.īut the big deal is: The map is f*cking huge, maybe too much. Now, everyone stated the obvious before, how the final game only has the LOD of the actual final map and that Rockstar probably has the entire detailed map saved for themselves. I loved Guarma.īut I've been thinking this for a while, while only 15% of the map is detailed (and like 5% legitimately explorable lmao), the rest of the map is solid despite being a bunch of minecraft looking pixels.
